What’s New in December 2023 & January 2024?

 

1. Inventory Adjustment – Stock Check and Batch Report

*Note: Only available for SiteGiant WMS

a. Stock Check App

Tired of manually creating stock check tasks? You can now use the Stock Check App to create and assign tasks for stockkeeper, including physical stock taking and stock adjustments.

b. Batch Report

The Batch Report is now available, allowing you to easily track batch status with the available stock and expiry dates.

You can filter batches that are expiring soon to clear stock. Please note that this report will only display batches with available stock.

 

2. Sales Channel –  Supports Zalora Singapore

You may now integrate and sell on Zalora Singapore with SiteGiant.

*Note: Only available for ERP Value Plus and above

 

3. Analytics – Store Credits Report

Track the customer store credits effortlessly with our new Store Credit Report. Gain valuable insights and easily analyze customer credit transactions for enhanced financial transparency and improved decision-making.

4. Apps – Free Shipping Bar, Content Defender and Recently Viewed App

a. Free Shipping Bar

Using free shipping as a strategy to encourage customers to make additional purchases is a common practice.

Now, you can highlight the details of your free shipping offer in the webstore header with the Free Shipping Bar. This feature notifies customers of the amount required to qualify for free shipping, motivating them to increase their purchases.

*Note: Only available for Webstore Pro | ERP Value Plus and above

b. Content Defender

Are you seeking to deter competitors from easily downloading your photos or copying your copywriting to prevent them from stealing your product images and content?

The Content Defender app prevents webstore visitors from saving or copying your images and texts by right-clicking on the webstore page. This safeguards your hard work from unauthorized copying and protects your webstore source code from malicious visitors.

c. Recently Viewed App

The Recently Viewed App is designed to track and display the products your customers have recently viewed. Through this app, it is easier for customers to notice the products they have viewed, encouraging them to make a purchase and providing personalized shopping insights.

Additionally, merchant can trace the recently viewed product of a customer on the customer details page. 

 

5. Webstore – Membership Sign-Up Form

Most retail sellers will put in effort to encourage customers to sign up as members. The easiest way to sign up as a member is a crucial aspect of the membership sign-up process.

The newly launched Membership Sign-Up Form is designed to streamline the merchant process, encouraging customers to complete their membership registration. To ensure customers focus on signing up as members, the membership sign-up form will only display the mandatory fields that need to be filled in, excluding elements such as pop-up banners and headers. This approach directs the customer’s attention toward the sign-up process.

Sellers are encouraged to use a third-party QR code generator to create a QR code linked to this membership page. This will make it easier for merchants to prompt customers to effortlessly sign up as members by scanning the QR code, especially offline.

1. Layout Content

a. You can enhance your membership sign-up page by adding a banner module, such as a membership banner, to make it easy to convey your membership message.

b. Edit the footer, limited to adding links to Internal Pages or Web Addresses.

2. Menu management

You can insert the Membership Signup page in the menu management to redirect customers to the membership sign-up page.

 

6. Setting – Automatically send specific order notifications email for customers and store owners.

Do you want to ensure your customers stay updated on their order status and receive tracking information promptly? Or, would you prefer automatic notifications whenever a customer places an order on your webstore?

Well, here’s great news for you! Now, you have the flexibility to configure the system to automatically send notifications to either customers or the store owner immediately upon order placement.

This feature not only enhances customer satisfaction by keeping them informed about their orders but also streamlines communication for you, ensuring you receive prompt notifications.

 

7. Setting – Customer Login

Many sellers find it beneficial to collect extra details from customers who have recently signed up an account, including their birthdate and specific preferences. This information proves invaluable for upcoming plans.

In a significant update, SiteGiant ERP now features Customer Login Settings, offering merchants the flexibility to customize the webstore sign-up form and membership sign-up form. This includes enabling various features, such as allowing customers to choose a Customer Group during sign-up, making it compulsory to enter their birthdate and so on.

 

8. Payment Gateway – ECPay (綠界科技)

Considering business expansion into Taiwan? 

You can now effortlessly accept payments from Taiwanese Customers with the newly integrated Taiwan Payment Gateway – ECPay (綠界科技).


Other Feature Enhancement

 

1. Order Processing – Newly added Pre-order label for TikTok orders

a. You can now filter the TikTok Pre-order under Package Type to streamline your fulfillment progress.

b. You may also be able to exclude these TikTok Pre-order orders from the TikTok Auto Arrange Shipment setting.

 

2. Order Processing – JT Cargo, Skynet and HCT Logistic (新竹物流) TW

With the new integration for JT Cargo, Skynet and HCT Logistic (新竹物流) TW, you can achieve a smoother fulfillment process and a more efficient overall experience.

 

3. Inventory Item – “Batch” enhancement

*Note: Only available for SiteGiant WMS

i. Each warehouse of the item will have its own batch and batch sequence.

ii. Expiry Date & Note have been added.

iii. Zero quantity of Batch will remain on Inventory Item to reuse by changing Batch Name.

iv. Managing batch quantity is now supported in Stock Adjustment (Web).

 

4. Wave Shipment – Newly added wave type of “Single Parent iSKU per wave” 

New Wave Type – Single Parent iSKU per wave is introduced to generate wave for order items under the same Parent iSKU.

5. Smart Fulfillment – Newly added printing status options for shipping labels in each pick list

Printing Status of Shipping Label with New, In Progress, Completed is added for each Pick List.

6. Fulfillment Point – Supports Order Fulfillment Assistance and Pick Zone Replenish

Not sure how to measure the performance of your pickers and packers?

With the latest enhancements, you can now assign fulfillment points to Order Fulfillment Assistance (OFA) and Pick Zone Replenish, facilitating a more comprehensive approach to performance tracking.

7. Picker Packer Performance Report – Supports tracking Order Fulfillment Assistant and Pick Zone Replenish

Take Note:

 i. Order Fulfillment Assistant (OFA) Report: 
– Duplicate scans are not recorded.
– For Kit Point, it depends on the “Show Bundle Kit Items” setting in Order Fulfillment Assistant to reflect immediately, including past date records.

ii. Pick Zone Replenish Report:
–  Only tasks marked as “Completed” will be taken into account.

8. ScanNPrint Report – Newly added “Reporting” button

With this reporting function, you can easily track packer performance.

*Note: Only available for SiteGiant WMS

 

9. Xero Accounting Sync – Newly added the feature of “resynced Xero existing invoices”, “product mapping overview”, “sync back button”, “Xero invoice listing” and “Purchase Order”

a. Resynced Xero Existing Invoices

If the invoice has been synced with Xero before, a confirmation box will pop up, prompting you to confirm if you want to resynchronize the invoice.

b. Product Mapping Overview

Product Mapping Overview has been added to show the order ID that is required for product mapping.

c. Xero Invoice Listing

You can now check the number of completed/ failed order statuses in the Xero Invoice Listing easily.

d. Sync Back button

The Sync Back button in Product Matching/ Customer Matching/ Shipping Matching is newly added to retrieve the latest info from Xero easily.

e. Purchase Order

You are now able to sync the Purchase Order from Xero to SiteGiant ERP.

 

10. Carrier Manifest – Zalora SG orders, Remark field, Duplicated Tracking Number and Display Remark on Document

i. The Carrier Manifest now supports Zalora SG orders.

ii. Added a “Remark” field in the Carrier Manifest.

iii. Added “Save Duplicated Tracking Number” in the Carrier Manifest Settings.

If the “Save Duplicated Tracking Number” setting is disabled, the system won’t save duplicate tracking numbers in the same list. Instead, it will prompt an alert with a beep sound.

iv. Added “Display Remark on Document” in the Carrier Manifest Settings.

If “Display Remark on Document” is enabled, the remark will be shown on the PDF print out.

v. Automatically exclude duplicate tracking numbers during bulk creation of Carrier Manifest via Order Processing.

During the bulk creation of a Carrier Manifest from Order Processing page, the system can now be set automatically exclude duplicated tracking numbers, ensuring only unique entries are generated. 

Example:
If 100 orders were initially selected, and 10 were duplicates, the resulting Carrier Manifest list may display only 90 unique orders.

 

11. Add Manual Order – Newly added “Manual Order Adjust Price” and “Last Selling Price” setting

i. Newly added staff permission setting for editing product prices.

Limiting product price editing to certain user accounts will be the standard practice for most of the company to avoid any mistakes in product charging. 

With the latest enhancement, it is now possible to restrict specific user accounts from changing the product selling price while manually placing an order. The ”edit price” icon will be hidden if the user without the necessary permission.

ii. Added “Last Selling Price” column

With the addition of the last selling price column, sellers can track the product price history from previous purchases, gaining insights into the product pricing trend. This enables sellers to apply the previous selling price for the customer if they prefer.

 

12. Webstore – Added “Product Review Block” and Enhanced Login and Sign Up Page Layout

i. Product Review block

Customer reviews are crucial in demonstrating the quality of a company’s products and services, serving as effective marketing tools to drive customer orders.

Introducing the newly launched Product Review Block, empowering you to showcase reviews and enhance customer confidence.

ii. Enhanced Login and Sign Up Page Layout

Many sellers prefer to include additional details about membership programs or specific promotions on customer login or sign-up pages as a free advertising opportunity.

Good news for you! Now you can customize your login and sign-up pages by inserting a banner block at the top and bottom now. 

 

13. Store Credit – Supports Custom Store Credit Amounts

With the latest enhancement, custom store credit amounts are now supported across Manual Orders, Webstore, Smart Salesman App, SiteGiant POS, and Shopping App. 

Customers can now apply a custom amount of store credits during checkout, empowering them to precisely control the usage based on their preferences.

*Note: Only available for OMO Essential and above

 

14. Webstore – Bundle Deal and Tax Calculations has been enhanced

With the latest enhancement, the logic for bundle deal and tax calculations will be different from previous. This enhancement will be applied to Webstore, SiteGiant POS, Shopping App, and Smart Salesman App.

Let’s apply this bundle deal promotion in the following two examples.

Bundle Deal Promotion: Buy 3 enjoy 10% discount

Product Unit Price
Cap: RM 9.99
Balloon: RM 8.88

(i) Bundle Deal discount will be calculated on set-by-set basis

Example:
Product in Cart

In this cart, it includes 2 Bundle sets which are  

Bundle Set 1: 
Cap x 3 qty 
Order Subtotal: RM 29.97 (RM9.99 x 3)
Bundle Deal 10% Discount for Set 1 is RM3.00.

Bundle Set 2: 
Cap x 1 qty
Balloon x 2 qty 
Order Subtotal: RM 27.75 [RM9.99 + (RM 8.88 x2)]
Bundle Deal 10% Discount for Set 2 is RM 2.78

The total Bundle Deal 10% discount for this order is RM 5.78 (RM3 + RM2.78).
From here, you may notice that the bundle deal discount is calculated on a set-by-set basis. 

(ii) Tax for each product will be calculated on row basis

Example:  
Bundle Deal Promotion: Buy 3 enjoy 10% discount

In this cart, it includes 1 Bundle sets, applies a RM5 Voucher and incurs a 6% Tax Charge. 

Bundle Set:
Cap x 1 qty
Balloon x 2 qty 

Subtotal: RM 27.75 [RM9.99 + (RM 8.88 x2)]
The Bundle Discount (10% ) for this bundle set is RM 2.78.

In this order example, there are 2 rows entitled “bundle discount” and “voucher discount“. Below is the method to calculate the tax for each product based on a row-by-row basis.

Based on this order example, here’s the calculation for calculate the Tax charges.

Order Subtotal: RM 27.75 (RM9.99 + (RM 8.88 x2)
Bundle Deal 10% Discount: RM 2.78
Store Voucher Discount: RM 5
Tax 6%: RM1.20 [ RM 0.43 + RM0.77]

Total Payment: RM 21.17 (RM27.75-RM2.78 – RM5 + RM1.20)

From here, you may notice that the bundle deal discount is calculated on a set-by-set basis, and all product discount and voucher discount will be deducted from the product price before calculating the tax.

 

15. Shipping – Multi-warehouse is available at the webstore pickup location setting

With the addition of Multi-warehouses in webstore pickup locations, you now have the advantage of assigning different warehouses to various pickup locations

This feature not only provides you with greater flexibility in managing inventory but also allows for optimized logistics, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined fulfillment process for your business.

16. Payments – Webstore Cash On Delivery can now be enabled or disabled

You can now choose to enable or disable Cash On Delivery (COD) for your webstore. If the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method is disabled, it will not be displayed on the checkout page.

 

17. SiteGiant POS – Added “Add Remark” button, automatically filled in the Send Invoice screen and Customer info has been included in the holding list screen

i. “Add Remark” button has been added to the checkout screen.

ii. The customer’s email can now be automatically filled in the Send Invoice screen.

18. Smart Scan App – Effortlessly generate carrier manifest for Zalora Singapore orders

The Smart Scan App has been enhanced to support Zalora Singapore orders, providing you with the capability to efficiently manage and process orders from Zalora Singapore.

 

19. Shopping App – Maintenance Mode, Price Display Options, and Add to Cart Button

We’ve recently enhanced the Shopping App’s app status. Now, you can choose to set maintenance mode, display prices for the public, or only show prices when customers are logged in. Additionally, you have the option to disable the “Add To Cart” & “Quantity” buttons on the product page.

This enhancement allows merchants to tailor pricing visibility, and empower sellers with greater control over their offerings

20. Shopping App – Blog Post block, Multiple Image Block and Menu Management are now available

a. Blog Post Block

Introducing the newly added Blog Post (Horizontal & Vertical) feature to showcase blog posts on the Shopping App Homepage. 

b. Multiple Images Block

A newly added image block type that enables you to upload images with dynamic width and height, with a maximum limit of 7 images.

c. Menu Management

With the newly launched menu management, it may let you easily manage the side drawer menu for the Shopping App.

1. The SiteGiant x Lalamove First Time 10% Top-Up Bonus Campaign (the “Promotion”) is provided by LALAMOVE MALAYSIA SDN BHD (COMPANY NO. 1277201-W) (“Lalamove”) and SiteGiant Sdn Bhd (“SiteGiant”). 4. This Promotion commences on 15th July 2022 with the end date to be announced at a later date (the “Promotion Period”).

5. If the Eligible Customer satisfies the Conditions in clause 3 of these Terms, the Bonus will be credited within 30 days immediately following the registration of your Lalamove corporate account.

6. The relevant top-up amounts in the Lalamove account have unlimited validity from the date of the successful top-up. The Bonus is subject to applicable agreements governing your Lalamove corporate account.
